Next spring, you can have it in spades, thanks to a slew of designers taking another look at the crisscross neckline. J. Mendel's colorblock organza gown featured two whisper-thin straps crossing over the chest, while the Mulleavy sisters did a chiffon goddess gown with thick twisted bands across the neck at Rodarte.
At Doo.Ri, her signature jersey dress got an update courtesy of a sheer overlay that met at the throat and had the similar effect of a stunning necklace. Temperley worked the look on a cropped short-sleeve jacket that lent an air of aesthetic appeal to an otherwise ordinary strapless dress.
