SECRET ADMIRERS

Few cultural events have the power to bring people together the way the annual Victoria's Secret fashion show, airing tonight on CBS, does—everyone from aging rockers (Slash) to gay sitcom stars (Neil Patrick Harris) to reunited Spice Girls showed up at this year's presentation to live the fantasy life for a few brief moments.

“It's just larger than life,” said model Marisa Miller, who walked in the show for the first time this year. “It didn't really become real to me until I had that outfit on, because it's literally a dream to be in a Victoria's Secret fashion show.

” And if you've got your eye on this year's fantasy set, a jewel-encrusted bra and garter modeled by Selita Ebanks, keep dreaming—it costs $4.5 million and took jeweler Mouawad more than 880 hours to create. The models also got to strut down the runway in a slightly more affordable luxury: custom-designed shoes from Christian Louboutin.

The stems were certainly at the forefront of Miller's mind throughout the show. “There are a million things you're thinking about when you're out there, but mostly it's making sure you're not going to fall.
