Roberto Cavalli's Artistic Flair

Roberto Cavalli's creativity has most recently been in the news as he was the first to officially remark on Jennifer Lopez's expectant state. Then there was his portrayal of fellow designer Karl Lagerfield for Halloween. Indeed, Cavalli is as fun as his frocks, but his Web site is not.

Cavalli has an artistic heritage, so it is no wonder that he is best known for his dramatic animal prints and use of fabric. From his entrance into the fashion world decades ago, Cavalli maintains his relevance by constantly keeping up and staying ahead of changing trends. His clientèle include celebrities and entertainers who are all loyal followers and have helped to expand his company and range of lines from knitwear to accessories and scents.

His collaborations with other companies- into eyewear, timepieces and underwear- as well as other ventures, spread his viewpoint to customers who have come to know not only his luxury brand, but trust his partners' quality as well. His recent foray into designing complete lines of clothing for men and women, including undergarments and accessories for known affordable department store H&M has been looked forward to from fashionistas of every income level and caused mobs of lines when it opened at stores.

You can find Cavalli's artistry in his international boutiques in Europe, Asia the Middle East and here in the States. Check his site for exact locations, but be warned to scroll carefully or the location you seek will blur past you. You can also find his collections at luxury department stores like Nordstrom and Bergdorf-Goodman.
