The Sporty Tag Heuer Watches Are A Perfect Gift

Tag Heuer watches make the perfect special gift for a loved one, if money is no object to you. Why purchase just a diamond bracelet or piece of jewelry, when you can find something that's as functional as it is thoughtful and as sporty as it is professional?

You may not have $57,000 for a new Rolex, but that doesn't mean you can't have a great quality timepiece. One Swiss competitor Tag Heuer watches markets sporty and sleek designer watches to athletes and artists alike for a fraction of the price (roughly $1,000 - $4,000).

Not only have they won many awards for original chronograph design and timed the World Olympics and Indy 500, but Tag Heuer is also a company that gives back to the community. In 2007, they donated to the "Save The Children" charity in a highly publicized event combining celebrities with high end sports cars.

The new women's line of Tag Heuer watches has scored ambassadors like actress Uma Thurman and Wimbledon champion Maria Sharapova. The line features diamond dials and a flower petal bezel design, while promoting a look that combines strength and sportiness with sexiness and professionalism.

This particular model can be as wild as the python print "Monaco" design or as elegant as the metal banded, pink faced, diamond inlaid "Aquaracer" series. Where else can you find a diamond watch that will survive up to 300 meters underwater?

You can find jewelry watches made of everything from 18 karat gold, diamonds and mother of pearl, to steel and sapphire crystal. Bands can be metal or leather, whichever you prefer. The men's line of Tag Heuer watches have spokespeople like race car driver or actor Steve Mcqueen ("Monaco" series) and pro golf champion Tiger Woods ("Link" series). The double safety clasp appeals to the active individual, as does the scratch resistant, glare proof face.

The brand have many unique features, like a countdown function, accuracy within 1/100th of a second, a diary alarm, a perpetual calendar and dial back-lighting. Over the years, Tag Heuer has redesigned their jewelry for optimal legibility and innovation.

Always an innovator, Tag Heuer watches patented the first crown winding mechanism in 1869, introduced the first "micro-graph" stopwatch to stop within 1/100th of a second in 1916 and became the first Swiss watch in Space in 1962.
